SR. ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEER or SCIENTIST

We are seeking a full-time Sr. Environmental Engineer or Scientist with a minimum of 5 years experience in Phase I, Phase II, writing HASP and Workplans, managing hazardous wastes, soils, and groundwater remediation.

Seeking an individual with knowledge of the NEPA or SEQRA/CEQR process and New York State/New York City environmental regulations.

The candidate should be self-motivated and able to work independently to complete tasks. Good management and writing skills are essential. Some field work will be required. OSHA certification is desirable.

TRANSPORTATION ENGINEER

Responsibilities include traffic impact analysis, capacity analysis, traffic signal warrant and design, travel demand modeling, traffic simulation modeling, and access analysis/design. Excellent quantitative and written/oral communications skills required. AutoCAD and/or MicroStation proficiency desirable.

It is expected that the Associate/Senior Transportation Engineer will have strong technical experience, the ability to work collaboratively and build consensus and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree with major course work in civil or transportation engineering, and a minimum of three years (Associate Engineer) or five years (Senior Engineer) of increasingly responsible experience in traffic analysis work.

This position will be filled at the Associate or Senior Engineer level depending on qualifications and experience.
